Drives for Honey Extractors – Hand Drive, Motor-Reduction & Automatic Drives (Logar)

For smaller honey extractors we offer a hand drive with a freewheel. The housing is made of cast aluminium and is sealed dust-tight. The worm and worm wheel are made of cast steel. The gear ratio is 1:3. The hand drives allow clockwise rotation. By holding the crank against the direction of rotation the extractor basket can be easily braked. The drive crank remains stationary while the extractor basket is spinning. Also available are motor-reduction drives with 80 W and 110 W (230 V) in which a control lever provides stepless speed regulation so the desired speed between 0 and 280 revolutions per minute can be selected. Automatic drives are also available for self-turning and radial honey extractors, allowing arbitrary settings of speed, direction and extraction time. If 230 V mains power is not available, use the 12V DC–230V AC inverter and power the extractor from a battery.

Fully automatic control allows the entire extraction process to run independently, so you can attend to other tasks in the meantime. Operation is simple via a membrane keypad. You can set and save up to 8 different programs. Each program can be configured with up to 8 different times, directions and rotational speeds. Basic extraction programs are pre-set but can be changed or expanded and saved again. Compact design, quiet operation and reliable performance.

Optimally compatible with Logar honey extractors: our hand, motor-reduction and automatic drives have been widely used in combination with Logar extractors and deliver particularly reliable, quiet and precise performance. In particular, Logar drives and Logar controls enable stepless regulation (0–280 rpm), programmable extraction durations and direction changes, and easy operation via a membrane keypad.
