Three-wall wax sterilizer with insulation for killing Nosema and foulbrood spores in beeswax.The wax clarifier is primarily intended for use in beekeeping and candle making:
- Disinfection of beeswax: high temperature kills Nosema and foulbrood spores,
- Cleaning and clarifying beeswax,
- Heating beeswax: for the production of foundation sheets and for candle making.
The wax clarifier is also suitable for cooking jams and preserves, melting paraffin, etc.
The sterilizer kettle is three-walled and consists of a double-walled inner container and an outer insulating jacket. Thermo oil (not included) is poured into the space between the walls to transfer the heat. The container is additionally insulated to reduce heat loss and power consumption. An electric heating cartridge with temperature control is built into the base of the container to heat it. You can select a temperature of 51°–158°C on the heater.
Beeswax intended for making foundation sheets must first be sterilized at 125°C. Only disinfected wax is suitable for producing foundation sheets.
The recommended temperature for candle making is 70–90°C.
