Description
Suitable for: Straining during honey extraction and for filling jars. Maximum capacity 30 kg; height to upper pinch tap 28 cm.
The under-sieve collection can with two welded pinch taps and a vertically mounted coarse and fine sieve provides a high honey flow without changing sieves and is primarily intended for straining during honey extraction. The sieve ensures an even flow so you can work efficiently and cleanly.
The under-sieve collection can has two welded pinch taps that cut the honey cleanly. During the sieving process the lower pinch tap must be closed. The upper pinch tap is used to drain the strained honey. As honey flows in it rises in the sieve bucket; dirt and wax particles float to the top and can be skimmed off easily. The honey level rises to the upper pinch tap and then flows through it into a receiving bucket. At the end the collection can is emptied via the lower pinch tap.
The under-sieve collection can can also be used for filling jars with honey, as the pinch tap cleanly cuts the honey (lid included).
Our recommendation: For very viscous or crystallized honey we recommend using a honey thawing device (e.g. Art. 7101) or a heating coil (e.g. Art. 7120) to achieve a constant temperature of approx. 40 °C.
For cleaning the sieve meshes are simply removed from the under-sieve collection can.
Optional accessories:
- Wax and honey bucket 11 l (Art. 3772)
