The portable steam generator from Logar with 6 kW output has been specially developed for the needs of beekeeping to melt old combs in larger wax melters and for melting old combs by centrifugation. The vaporizer can begin producing steam in under 4 minutes after start-up. If the water in the heating reservoir is already warm, the powerful heating element allows steam to be produced within seconds. Once the container reaches a sufficiently high temperature, the wax melts and runs off. Because steam production starts quickly, cycles when changing frames in the baskets are shorter.
The steam generator is designed to operate without pressure, and water can be refilled into the supply tank at any time, even during operation. Operation of the steam generator is simple. The solenoid valve, controlled by a switch, ensures there is always sufficient water in the heating reservoir and simultaneously protects the heating element in case of low water.
