The honey sump with its six chambers is designed to clarify honey already during extraction. The clarifying tank is placed under the honey extractor. Honey is clarified as it flows through the chambers. Honey from the extractor first flows into the removable tray with a perforated bottom, which performs coarse clarification. From this tray the honey flows through five chambers into the final chamber, from which it is pumped into the container using a pump with a 6/4'' ball valve.

Wax particles in the honey rise to the surface as the honey flows through the chambers, so the honey becomes progressively cleaner in each successive chamber. The clarifying tank is covered with a Plexiglas lid to ensure a highly hygienic process.

Made of stainless steel AISI 304 — robust, easy-to-clean construction for professional use.
