Description
Suitable for: Monitoring the brood chamber in all common hive types (e.g., Zander, Dadant, stackable hive boxes). No restrictions due to frame dimensions — fits in all brood chambers.
The brood-chamber temperature and humidity sensor (Part No. BST1) enables beekeepers to quickly and reliably measure the key climate parameters inside the hive. Continuous monitoring of temperature and relative humidity in the brood chamber helps ensure optimal conditions for brood rearing and colony health, and allows early response to changes.
The sensor is easy to install and provides stable readings over long periods. It is suitable for both hobby and professional beekeepers and can be used as a standalone device for direct checks or as part of a broader hive monitoring system. Its compact design allows discreet placement in the brood chamber without interfering with frame handling.
Maintenance and operation are deliberately simple: regular checks of the battery/power supply and occasional visual inspections are sufficient to ensure reliable measurements. Ideal in combination with other monitoring devices, the BST1 supplies the baseline data needed for targeted treatment and management strategies.
